Welcome to the High Mountain Appraisal Service Home Page. We are located in the south central portion of New Mexico at the crossroads of US Highways 70, 54 & 82 in Alamogordo.

We have the distinction of being the first real estate appraisal office located in Cloudcroft, in the southern Sacramento Range of the Rocky Mountains, opening our office there in 1986. We service the north half of Otero County and the south half of Lincoln County. Our service area includes:

    All appraisals are performed in compliance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the New Mexico Appraiser Act. Residential appraisals will not conform to the illegal January 26, 2015 FHA/FannieMae/FreddieMac guidelines. We carry $1,000,000 Errors and Omissions Insurance.
